This month, WFY welcomed a group of full-time and intern new hires to our tax department. We are thrilled to have these new hires join our team coming into the new year.
Olga Stebakov
In January, Olga Stebakov joined WFY as our newest Tax Director. Olga graduated from UCLA with a degree in Business Economics/Accounting and received her Masters in Business Taxation from USC. She spent the past 20 years servicing high-net-worth households, generally working with their family offices, focusing on trusts and flow-through entities, real-estate and other various closely held businesses. Most of Olga’s other time is spent keeping up with her two young boys (8 and 4), and two German Shepherd babies of same age. All four never stop running or sit down for very long, but luckily they have each other!
Kodey Yu
In the beginning of January, Kodey Yu was welcomed into our team as a Tax Senior. Kodey has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s degree in Taxation from San Jose State University. In his career in accounting, he’s worked at other large accounting firms for over 4 years and focused primarily on corporate returns, individual returns, Federal provision, and compliance. During his time out of the office, he likes to play basketball a couple times a week.
Felix Tjong
Felix Tjong rejoined our firm as a full-time Tax Staff after interning with WFY in 2024. He graduated in the Fall at California State University, Fullerton. He has interned before, but this is his first full-time position in an accounting firm after graduating. In his spare time, hiking and working, and – fun fact – he’s trilingual (English, Mandarin, and Bahasa)!
Colette Kim
This month, Colette Kim was welcomed back into our firm as a full-time Tax Staff. Colette graduated from California State University, Fullerton this past Fall and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She has interned with WFY in the past and her next career goal is to take and pass the CPA exam. Outside of work, Colette enjoys sewing.
Dany Ajmo
In mid-January, Dany Ajmo joined WFY as a Tax Intern.
Grace Han
Along with Dany, Grace Han also joined our firm as one of our Tax Interns for the upcoming busy season.
